I'd like to know if theres a way of use IMAGE UPLOAD feature instead of linking to url for BBCodes.
I need to set an image for each created answer.
If so, how can I do it?

Hey,

at the moment it is not possible to use a image upload function. You need to add all pictures manually and link it with BBCodes.

I'm working on a gallery template which will provide functions like upload, share and popups.
It is not finished yet and I can't give you a date when it will be released, sorry.

I'll wait for that but until you release that, do you know any workaround which I could apply to solve this problem and be able to upload an image for each answer on a poll?

Or could you release your template or just the upload related files, even though I know its not officially finished?

I want to appreciate the effort of the developer. Jvote is really is a great voting component. I've made use of it for conducting election for an Organisation, and am just about to pay for the upgrade. The only issue i have is adding images to the answer.
I made use of it such that each of the answer represent each candidate to be voted for. but there were complains by some of the candidates that they want their picture to be display so that voters can recognise them. Pls i really hope that you will be through with the gallery template aspect of it before the end of the month.

Moreover: there was an error that came up on two of the systems we used such that we were unable to open the website from the localhost. this is the error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 41 bytes) in C:\xampp\htdocs\evoting\libraries\joomla\error\exception.php on line 117

Pls i wish that the new version that will be out will be free of any kind of bug, and also the image will be readily availabl. and hope it will be ready before the end of July.

I'm sorry but the gallery template will not be finished before the end of the month. At the moment it is not stable and not secure! Sorry, I will not release any source code, the template is connected with complete new functions of jVoteSystem, you can't use it with older versions. I'm on a trip next week therefore I've no time to work on it, sorry.

I can't post a workaround because an upload function is complex and it is not easy to implement it.

The fatal error you described is caused by an endless loop of error messages. I'm not sure if this bug is caused by jVoteSystem, please start further tests. (Next time, create an own topic for the memory error but don't just repost your message containing a response to the image topic. Thanks!)

I came here looking for the very same thing. jVote is incredible so far, only thing that could make it better is this upload option! I look forward to seeing it
