Today I bought the extension since it looks what I need for my website. However, jVoteSystem is not working at all in my joomla website (ikita.com.mx).

1. I had Joomla! 2.5.3 installed and the last version of jvotesystem 2.0.5.

2. Even if I tried all in the forums I can't get the extension to be working correctly on my website.
All the plugins, component and module are active:

3. The code {jvotesystem poll=|2|} doesn´t work. It displays the message: Fehlerhafte Parameter! Umfrage kann nicht geladen werden. I have already verified that the ID exists and is currently active.

Can anyone help me to solve this situation?

I have the same problem (and more) with a Joomla 1.5 site. Would be great to find fixes as this component is exactly what I was looking for (thanks guys!)

-the text colours don't obey the template and are practically invisible with my colour scheme (dark gray text on dark gray bg). It'd be nice to have options to change the colours in the module. Any tip about where to change this in the php files would be very welcome as well!!
-the template setting doesn't have any effect on the polling module, only on the results
-the code to insert a poll into an article doesn't work (same error as Fernando). I worked around that one by publishing the module to an un-used position and using {loadposition <position name>} instead.

-uninstalling the component still leaves the module installed and the database tables are not cleaned up
-I can't delete answers in the backend (once I saw a little trash bin but I can't see it no longer)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Now (I don´t know why) some part of the plugin is working but the module is still not working.
Here you can take a look. The comments written in the red color are in english.

found the css I need to edit to change the module's text colours, so that's sorted.
I also noticed the "Answers" tab in the backend where I can delete answers. I was expecting this to work in the pop up window of the poll (accessed from the "Polls" tab) as well.

Getting there...

So I think I sorted everything out, but I still can't embed the poll into an article due to the "Fehlerhafte Parameter! " error thet Fernando mentioned.

Any ideas anybody?
